Car park wasn't very well sign posted and I had to drive around looking for it.

This was my first time flying out of Birmingham and from making the booking to exiting the car park it couldn't have been easier. The cost was very reasonable, it was easy to find and I loved that they showed you to a space (rather than driving around endlessly looking for one). Bus service was INCREDIBLE and staff were friendly.
Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone.

All ran smoothly, easy to park, bus service efficient & didn't need to wait too long. Need to remember to keep the ticket for the bus back & to retrieve your car, but well explained by the check-in guy. Remember to allow enough time to wait for the bus tho - checked in at car park at 10am & bus waited till all the expected passengers had arrived, so didn't get to terminal til 10.40.

Normally use the onsite NCP airport parking but decided to try Express Parking via the Holiday Extras app and wasn't disappointed. The parking area is next to the Birmingham International Train Station and you get a free shuttle bus service direct to the airport departures. Convenient drop off and pick up on return straight to your car. Great service at less than half the price of the NCP option.

No display screen at BHX bus stop A so no updates on next incoming buses. Frustrating as because of an accident on the A45 two buses were apparently stuck and we were left waiting for over 35 mins (when service should be every 25). For context it was past 10pm and freezing cold. I had to phone Mackadown Road to ask for an update - they weren't that helpful. But the APH Express driver (who had come round three times and seen us) very helpfully called in for us and updated us that a rescue bus was on its way. A display screen would be useful in these situations !

Easy to book on the website, the right price and fairly easy to find on sat nab for a city. Once at the site we were met promptly with advice given in a straight forward manner and easy to park. A prompt pickup in the bus but we expected to wait longer as it was made clear they ran every half hour. On return the bus stop is easily found and close although we did wait 25 minutes the bus was warm. I was particularly impressed with getting the keys from a secure box which did not mean queuing at busy times. The car was very close which made for a quick getaway.

Fairly easy to find, only made difficult by all the road works in the area otherwise, straight there with the directions given.
Met at the gate with a lovely welcome considering it was around 02:30am. Number plate cognition so the guy used my name which made the greeting very personal which I liked. Then had to follow a van to my allocated parking spot, again I really liked this as I was driving round and round looking for empty spaces. Thankfully my spot was right opposite the waiting bus to take me to the terminal. So easy, no waiting around in the cold. Dropped off right outside the departure doors. Easy to find bus stop on my return which again was great as I can never find the right stop to go back. Perfect service. Thank you. Will definitely book again and recommend.

This was the 2nd time we've used Holiday Extras to book parking at Birmingham. Booking was straight forward with details saved from last time. It was an easy journey and we parked fairly quickly on 4th floor. Car park 1 is very close to the airport so it's literally only a few minutes walk into departures and then back again at the end of our holiday. I'll book again if we fly from Birmingham another time.

Birmingham airport is undergoing extensive renovation and this included access to car park two which we used. Had we known how hard it was to negotiate our way back and out, we'd have gone to car park 3. The booking, payment and service was excellent as usual.

Carpark booking went perfectly, including automatic number plate recognition upon entry and exit, which I have had problems with in the past with other airports. Only criticism is with Birmingham airport who do not provide adequate signage to the carparks upon exit from arrivals, in fact they are non-existent, which should be
addressed in order to assist travellers who are not familiar with various carpark locations.

A member of staff meet you in a car lane. They confirm your details and give you a colour and letter bay to park in, a ticket is also printed and given to you, with those details on. Really good service. When you return on the bus you show your ticket. I find the experience welcoming, and like the idea all the details are printed on the ticket.

All good going in barrier went straight up managed to find a space after about 10 mins then spotted someone coming out of the lift and followed them to get a space coming out barrier didn't lift and it said we owe £192 for 2 days parking but after a few mins we gave the ref number and it went up would use again

Even though our flight was 7.5 hours late arriving in Birmingham, there was no extra cost.
On the downside, because it was dark and rain was torrential, I found it very hard to locate the carpark on return journey. When I rang the number and said I couldn't find it, the man said," It's well sign posted, and put the phone down.

Excellent service from start to finish. It was my first time travelling alone so I was a bit nervous. As soon as I got there, they were very friendly. There was a man at the entrance who handed me a ticket with what bus station to be at for pick up when I arrive back. Then there was a mini bus in front of me to follow to my car parking space. There was a shuttle bus waiting for me to drop me off right outside the departures entrance. They also updated me on their app. This service was excellent and made my travel experience at ease. Highly recommend

Very good from start to finish. Person guided us to parking space, we went straight onto bus. Bus driver on return on Christmas Day helped load on our suitcases which was helpful. Lots of roadworks going on so took us a while to find the car park.

Service itself was fine, but the parking bay was at the bottom of a slope against a fence and was a collection point for mud, water and leaves. A very muddy space which needed to be swept. Park your car, get out and then clean your shoes!

Simple, you're told where to park. You take your keys and take the provided bus to the airport.
On return you take the bus to the car park and collect your car.
It would be an improvement if there was a dedicated spot to unload passengers and luggage near the bus stop area before you park your car, especially if the weather is bad.

My booking actually didn't show up when we checked into the carpark. Essentially it didn't exist - they tried to find it using the reference and my name. Luckily they still let us park and didn't charge us any extra. This has never happened before so I'm not sure what happened. If it happens again I would reconsider using Holiday Extras to be honest as if they hadn't of been so understanding they could have charged us again I would have thought. For now I'll stick with Holiday extras as there are good offers etc.

The only downside was that with all the road changes not far from the site my car satnav couldn't cope with them. Switch to Google maps and it works a treat.
Promptly dealt with on arrival. Transfer bus was eating to take us to the airport. When we returned we only had to wait about ten mins before we were collected.

Very glad we booked car park one, so close to the terminal building. We had a RTA hold up on the way delaying us by around 2 hours, so were only minutes away from being too late and missing the outward flight. Fortunately we were able to drive straight into car park 1 and found a space on the ground floor, so just had to run across to the terminal without any further delay !

Fantastic location, however we ended up spending 20 minutes waiting for the shuttle bus to pick us up and then stop off at every bus stop because we didn't realise it was only a 2 minute walk to the airport.
Highly recommend but would suggest that you walk once parked if you are capable.

I think the main point is like you say don't use the sat nav directions use the one you sent me which was spot on.
Picked up litteraraly as we walked outside the airport on the way back and driver new exactly which row our car was parked. Will definitely use again and would recommend.

I was shocked to see a demand for £384 when I reached the exit gate as the booking had not been automatically recognised. Fortunately I had kept a copy of the booking and was able to use the intercom to get help in retrieving the booking to exit without paying any further charges.

The man on the gate was friendly and helpful. I had also done a dummy run and the other man was great too. The bus was waiting near zone 2 when I parked he drove down to pick passengers up. It was a bit muddy on the field. We were dropped at departures about 3 minutes away.
On my return the bus was full but waiting 3 mins, dropped at zone 2...fabulous!

Greeted as soon as we pulled into car park and was directed straight to our parking lane. (All been resurfaced since our last visit which makes it easier to manoeuvre suitcases on and don't get covered in dust like before especially in the rain)
Buses run frequently from car park to airport so never wait for too long, even on return journey.
Entry and exit is done on self registration plate recognition so no fumbling for paperwork or searching phone for booking reference.
Ease of access through app when booking.

Somehow I missed the directions to the Birmingham parking. First the airport, then APH at Marston Green, then to the Holiday Inn Express, then a gate that was firmly closed and finaly to the ex-NEC car park for which the signposts had been covered. Once we were there, service, shuttle, etc all perfect.

Have used many times, and a lot of these have been chaos. However this stay was seamless. Plenty of parking on arrival (normally quite a lot of vehicles in area) and pick up the car was ready and could easily and quickly be served (normally have to wait for vehicle and staff to return keys)

Easy to book with instructions forwarded for on the day. The car park was easy to locate and the service was good. Parked the car and boarded the waiting bus with the ticket provided. You are then dropped off right outside the terminal. Coming back you locate your bus stop outside the terminal and you are returned to the car park. Would definitely use this service again as it was very efficient.

Booking was fine but late return insurance did not meet expectations. Our first flight was delayed and we were removed from the connecting flight. We therefore arrived the next day. This less than 24 hour late arrival resulted in an additional £64 charge at the car park (half the 2 week parking cost!). So far we have been unable to get this back from Holiday Extras because they are insisting on written proof of the reason for the delay from the airline. No information on this was provided to us at the time even verbally but I have since discovered the reason but this was deemed insufficient and the extra charge has bot been refunded. This makes the late arrival insurance rather a waste of time.

Straightforward booking process, smooth arrangements at the site, good bus transfer to and from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff.
There does seem to be some confusion at the airport bus stop about which bus people should use, with multiple parking sites using the same bus stop, so that could perhaps be better organised or explained to people.
The charge for additional days is unclear - on the booking terms and conditions, it quotes £20 per day but when I called to advise we were delayed, the automated message quoted £15 per day. This should be clarified to avoid confusion/disappointment.

When I got back to Birmingham airport I got on the bus only to be told that I was a day late . Having being given the wrong ticket with someone else's registration and the name wasn't even wright I was embarrassed standing there trying to plead my innocence with the driver while a long queue was forming . What an amazing service! Park up in a secure car park, lock your vehicle, take your keys with you and jump on the free transfer bus to the airport door!! Booking my next trip and using this service again. Return journey was even easier... bus stop A outside the Jet2 terminal doors, after 3 mins the bus arrived, scanned our ticket and we were in the car on the way home 5 mins later. In and out of car park no problem , however it is difficult to park on lower floors up to level 3 and a little into level 4 as you waste a lot of time searching lower levels for possible spaces, Think it would be better to go level 4 and above quickly and probably save time.
Also you are only given 1 hour after published return landing time and then you are charged by the hour thereafter. Not practical if plane is delayed or in our case slow baggage reclamation . Just made exit from car park with a minute to spare. Should give 2 hours at least so that you stress less!

The service is really good just drive up to the barrier your car registration is read the barrier is raised you the find a parking space, its just a short walk to the terminal.
On return drive down to exit again you registration is read barrier raised could not be easier.
