Snow disruptions this week
The UK Met Office has issued weather warnings this week from Weds January 7th to Thursday January 8th.
Early Tuesday morning Manchester airport once again closed its runways to clear snow. Manchester's runways have now reopened, but the airport will experience knock-on delays and cancellations throughout Tuesday.
Liverpool airport is also reporting disruptions from the snow but is open as normal.
The folllowing Met Office warnings remain in place:
Tues 7th
- Snow and/or ice (Yellow Warning): Potential minor disruptions for northern and western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and western England as far north as Manchester
Weds 8th
- Snow (Yellow Warning): Potential minor disruptions for southern England including Gatwick and Heathrow airports
As always, we encourage customers who are due to travel during the weather warning to contact their airline or tour operator to double-check the situation before setting off to the airport. It may also be advisable to leave extra time for your journey to or from the airport as there is the potential for road and rail disruptions.
We've added some useful links at the bottom of the page.
