Our transfer from Tenerife to our hotel was not available and after a lot of stress and not being able to contact Holiday Extras on the emergency number we made our own way by taxi.
I sent an email to Holiday Extras who admitted they no longer dealt with the car company and my booking had been overlooked. They arranged my return transfer and within 48 hours of my return refunded my expenses and another 50%.
I think a one off but as was dealt with efficiently would use them again.

Waited 30 minutes at airport before transfer driver available. Transfer to Costa Adeje was in a nice car and was comfortable and pleasant. Return journey was on a Shuttle bus ( we were the only passengers) even though we had booked a private car.

The original transfer company we used on arrival In Tenerife was awful. 2 of us travelled and I had booked a private car. We were taken to the hotel in a very old mini bus with no air conditioning in 36 degree heat. The lady driver was also taking both hands off the steering wheel to do her hair and we had to complain to her.
The next day I had a email from holiday extras to say we had been re booked with another company for our return airport transfer due to customer complaints about the original company.
What a different experience our return trip was. Lovely new vehicle and air conditioning. Carful driver and on time.
Well done for acting on your customers feedback.

Both drivers on arrival and pick up were extremely helpful with our cases etc. This was very much appreciated as my friend has a disability scooter. Therefore I would have had to move all the cases from the mini bus to the reception on arrival, and back to the mini bus from reception on our return journey to the airport. Thank you so much.

I have used both of these companies before without any issues, but this time they excelled themselves when I made a mess of my booking. I had got my dates wrong and we actually came home 24 hours earlier than I had booked for. Although initially I had a problem getting through to someone for help, it was sorted and we were picked up a day earlier than I booked for. I was so grateful to everyone from both companies for being so understanding and getting us to the airport as planned. THANK YOU!

We booked our private car transfer only a few days before our holiday to avoid the multi stop drop offs by the Tour Company coach. After collecting our luggage we made our way to the transfer company desk and were on our way within a few minutes. Instead of a journey of 75 minutes we were at our Hotel in about 35 minutes. I have used this service on quite a few occasions, and have been very happy . However this last time ( 22/04/23 was a shambles. Arrived at the airport about 10 at night. When I got to the stop where to catch the shuttle there were crowds of people all pushing trying to get on a small minibus which was obviously too small for the amount of people. Luckily as I was just one person on my own there was one seat available. So managed to get on.. Although I received some abuse from a large group of French tourists, I was a little unnerved being alone late at night .

I didn't realise I had to find the office for the taxi firm within the airport- there were a number of taxi drivers with cards held up for travellers but not ours so I had to search them out. You should make this clear to people who book. Once found the journey to the hotel and pick up a week later went smoothly.

Good door to door service, but you may have to wait an hour for the bus to leave the airport. The bus then stops at many hotels, so be prepared for a long and slow journey.

Had a few issues in the beginning as we had double booked our transfer. Entirely my own fault and you guys actually emailed me to check if we'd made a mistake. It then took us several days to cancel one of the transfers as we were unable to do it online and it's near impossible to speak to anyone. The problem was eventually resolved and we were able to cancel one transfer and get a credit. The transfer itself was excellent. The driver was waiting for us as we came through arrivals and took us over to his shiny minibus so it all ended happily and we will use the service again

Pickup for departure was great, the driver was early and we got there in plenty of time. However on arrival we got to the bus bay and it was just leaving then waved at us. The driver indicated it was going to be a five minute wait so we waited about 20 minute before we asked at the desk again and they told us they didn't know but it could be up to an hours wait. We gave up and got a taxi, so not best pleased.

The driver was waiting for us in the airport arrivals hall with my name clearly displayed on a A4 sheet of paper. He took one of our cases himself to his vehicle which was only a 5 minute walk from the airport. On collection from our hotel we had a different driver who arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule so there was no fretting that we might have been forgotten. Both drivers were very polite and their vehicles spotless

The transfer went to plan. Was very easy got to the arrival airport went to the desk as told went outside waited 10 minutes then our transport arrived and took us to our hotel. Was a bit worried about the return transfer hoping the transport would turn up Was told it would arrive 3hrs before our flight time and to be fair it did arrive about 3hrs and 15mins before our flight so arrived at the airport in plenty of time. The only thing I think could have been improved it would have been nice to receive an email confirming our return transport time just to give peace of mind. But was very satisfied with everything and will definitely book again .

On arrival at Tenerife our flight was delayed from Bristol by a couple of hours with us unable to inform our pick-up. there was a slight delay in finding the driver but nothing too lengthy.
On return our driver picked us up at the arranged time but apologised as he had to make a stop off en-route to the airport to pick up another traveller. I was more than happy with the booking process with Holiday Extras for our transfer from the airport to apartment in Tenerife - however the actual transfer company for our inbound journey was poor. I believe we were to expect a 55 minute wait between arriving at the coach and leaving the airport, however we in fact waited around for 2 hours and 45 minutes, which just isn't acceptable. We arrived late at our apartment and missed dinner. It wasn't a great start, sadly. I don't think I would book a shared shuttle service again; I will go back to having a private transfer as from my experience, they're more reliable.

The service by Jumbo Tours was first class, despite having to wait for an hour for the next coach. Drivers were excellent, and certainly appeared well organised. Courteous and helpful as well. Coaches were excellent, as well,. They were very comfortable.
The only criticism I have is around the significant difficulties I had with yourselves, over the issue of informing you of a change of departure time from Newcastle Airport. It was extremely difficult to actually talk to someone, and your virtual assistant system wwas not particularly helpful, given the reality of your queuing process.
To be fair, I did see later a comment from Jumbo Tours that if departure times were changed, it was possible to ring them direct. Certainly the issue with your company caused anger and frustration. I appreciate many companies have staffing issues with regard communicating with customers, but it was not helpful at the time I was trying to resolve an issue with you.

Return journey with purple parking not so great. Just missed a bus but waited over half an hour for the next. Driver didn't open front doors which meant we barely squeezed on with the crowds which had formed in the half hour since we were there waiting at front of queue. Just glad we squeezed on! . No communication from grumpy driver. Long communic back via south terminal which added to journey times. Took a lot longer than we anticipated. Found the first transfer driver very rude. Was trying to indicate order of arrival of passengers but he chose to select those who he favoured, completely ignoring myself and my partner until end of boarding

Parking at Stansted airport went well but as for the transfer at tenerife not at all got there went to where we had to go to be sent to another desk who told us to go to pick up point 59 which we did the pick up bus came did not care who was first in line just put on as he wished we had been there already 20 minutes when we stopped him and asked when is the next pick up he told us 50 to 90 minutes and other people had been there longer than us and told us did has happened twice already we and other passenger just got a taxi at the cost of 50 euros then for the transfer back we did not get our text message for where and what time our pick up was so had to ring for it did get picked up this time but would not use the shuttle bus again very poor and did not care

Booked airport parking and hotel transfers in Tenerife.
The welcome parking was great, no faffing around with buses from distant locations and NHS discount made it affordable. Just walk from the car park to the terminal. Had to call to let them know you've arrived and also landed but it was really well organised and smooth.
Hotel transfers were also great - man standing there with my name ready to go as soon as we picked up our bags and we were at the hotel in 20 mins rather then 1h with the package holiday buses, going round all the hotels.

When we arrived at Tenerife airport we followed the instructions to the pickup point. It was closed but we were redirected to another booth. Arriving at the transfer bus the driver wouldn't let us on as we were not on his list. Eventually we were allowed on but on arriving in the area he had no idea where our accommodation was and "couldn't speak much English". I was able to tell him roughly where we were staying and he managed to find it. For the return journey we didn't get a message and reception staff had to phone several times to find out pick up time. We were advised the wrong pickup point and luckily saw a bus stop a good distance away and managed to signal to the driver

On arrival at Tenerife South airport (18/2/2022) and on time, we had a wait of nearly an hour before our transport turned up for the transfer to our hotel. I understand there have been a lot of problems with heavy traffic recently but if the people on the ground are aware of this (which they are) then they should make provision and not leave passengers sat outside on the pavement with little information. We were told all sorts of things in broken English; There was a road collapse, taxi would be 10 mins, taxi would be 15 mins etc, etc. It wasn't until the mini-bus driver explained (in good English) what the problem was that we understood the delay.

Hi, with the transfer from the airport to the accommodation there wasn't anyone waiting for us at the airport, we had to ask someone where to go. We found the desk eventually but was then a quick transfer.
With the pick to return back to the airport, the taxi was over half an hour late. We continually tried calling the emergency number from the website but no one answered and it kept ringing off!!!! Eventually the taxi arrived but this made us late arriving at the airport, we only just made the flight!!!

Vehicle ready at airport and swift transfer albeit in a no bus that looked a bit tatty but clean. Didn't arrive at the time stated and I had to ring up the emergency number and was told that it would be there in another 10 mins. Driver turned up again in a mini bus that had child seats on the first row of seats so had to sit back further in mini bus. We said to the driver that they were late and the response that we got was 'yes', no apology. There was a young girl sitting in the front with the driver and we had no explanation as to who this was and there phone was constantly pinging that was very irritating. There was horrendous traffic on the road and we ended up missing our plane (not the fault of the driver), and we had to pay for more flights later that evening. The driver did apologise that we had missed the plane but there was nothing he could have done as it was traffic related. He remained very calm throughout the slow traffic.

Everything went well, we arrived and went to the desk in the arrivals hall as described in the instructions, a taxi was summoned the driver met us and took us straight to our accommodation, on the return journey at the end of our holiday we were anxious about being prompt for check in as a result of the additional COVID admin. This is when we were very impressed, the taxi was a full ten minutes early with a polite, professional driver who had us at the airport early, this was fantastic so our experience has been very positive. We stayed overnight pre-departure from Gatwick with 15 nights parking. Unfortunately the bar wasn't open in the evening we stayed and also there was no food other than microwave meals from behind reception. Fortunately there was a pub close by which was serving food but only until 7.30pm. Luckily enough we made it there in time. The facilities at the hotel were adequate but the advertised taxi fare was more than advertised.

Booked transport to accommodation in Tenerife Las Rosa and back to Tenerife airport three weeks later. Initial pick-up fine from airport to Las Rosas but did not receive confirmation of pick-up at Las Rosas to Tenerife airport for 11.1.22. 24 hours before Tried to phone number on confirmation details but no answer! Las Rosas reception tried also no answer. On day of departure no confirmation of time of pick-up. Fortunately Las Rosas finally got through one and half hours before collection. No email received by Las Rosas of confirmation!!!!

Booked with holiday extras as it was even CHEAPER than a public bus and direct instead of having to walk half a mile with luggage, I was in no hurry to get to my apartment, good job, it took two hours as I was dropped off last, but I enjoyed having a free tour round southern Tenerife never having been before. It is slow due to the Canarian Bus company that does the transfers being short staffed which is no fault of holiday extras, read the small print before you pay they are allowed to take up to two hours if necessary.
