The driver texted me by the time I landed and was at the airport promptly to pick us up. We also contacted the driver on the way back to the airport, who picked us up half an hour early which worked out perfectly as there was a lot of traffic. The only comment I would make is that the
return transfer may be better a little earlier in the event of traffic as security was very busy as well. We also like to have a little time at the airport to shop and eat. We had no problems though! It was a great service and I have no complaints.

The booking was for a 1x MINI BUS for 6 people each with luggage.
On arrival at JFK, we were early but phoned the helpline to let holiday extras know we are here, the call handler wasn't great but said somebody will be in touch. A greeter eventually phoned to identify themselves. The email had clear instructions that there would be somebody with my name on a card, this was NOT the case. The greeter then was on the phone to the mini bus, who did arrived at the time booked. The driver was nice and friendly and took us to the hotel no issues at all.
On departure, I had a whatsapp 1.5hrs early (turns out we needed that extra time) but a Tesla turned up, no way will 6 people and luggage get in plus driver!! The lady was on a the phone a lot trying to sort it out for us. Meanwhile time is moving on and we have a flight to catch. Eventually it was confirmed 2 cars will take us, so the party were split in 2. 1 Car relied on sat nav which helped get to JFK as best it could given the traffic, the other car had a local driver who said he knew better routes and actually took 30 minutes longer!! With the mix up with transport, different routes, New York Traffic, we did get to the airport on time but could have so much better organised

The service was smooth and went well, the drivers made contact and seemed smooth, second driver we found out wanted to pick us up early due to another fare, this cut our time as we wanted to spend as much time as possible before the airport, he let this slip on the way, pretending on the original txt it was due to traffic.
But this was not a cheap transfer and wasn't really that happy to receive a txt 3 mins after drop off with a PayPal link to send a tip from the second driver, the two things have put me off a little and as mentioned not cheap to book, certain a taxi at the airport would be cheaper but we like to use holiday extras for many things.

Service good but meet and greet at the airport on arrival needs to be better. Walked around for about 30 minutes before finding a guy, leaning up against a post with an iPad in his hand and we had to ask him if he was picking us up!!

Received two reference numbers, contacted via chat service, confirmed only been charged once, but upon arrival two cars had been sent. Think there was an issue with flight numbers, it was a multi carrier numbered plane.bSame thing happened on return, which was embarrassing when second driver approached us in car at traffic lights, kept ringing me, left voicemail mails, I tried to explain we had two bookings on way out too. Car number plate matched up with text. Our driver dealt with it saying he had authorisation. Told him we had booked in UK & paid before we travelled.

My travel was Manchester to New York. New York
to Orlando. Orlando to Manchester.
I used holiday extra on this occasion for airport lounge access & airport transfers.
The transfers were in New York to and from the hotel. A few days before my travel the drivers both texted me their details/vehicle details etc. I think loan (more vulnerable travellers) would have really appreciated this fact.
My lounges were at Manchester & Orlando. Holiday Extra couldn't offer me a JFK lounge. Which I was surprised at?.
I have used holiday extra numerous times but on this occasion found my own airport long stay parking at and overnight hotel at Manchester airport quite a lot cheaper than holiday extra could offer.
I will use holiday extra again - but on this occasion could only use part of your service during to price or non availability.

The pickup service at JFK had to return as they were unwilling to wait with an 80 min delay getting through Boarder Control. They requested a $12 addition per 15 minutes. I believe this was not taken from my account and I didn't hand over any cash.

Once our driver showed up it was perfect… we got a text to say he was there with a pic of car and number plate which is brilliant however he held a card up with another groups name on and took them and told us to wait… we had no connection/mobile signal and were left waiting an extra 30 mins before another driver took us. Return pick up went a lot smoother!

Only issue I had was my pick up for holiday transfer was scheduled for the same time as I landed. Because of delay and waiting in passport control and picking up cases, we were nearly an hour later than pick up was booked for. We were then informed if we were any longer we would be charged as the free waiting charge would expire. In this case I would say make sure your pick up is scheduled for at least half an hour after landing time

Nowhere in my booking did it stipulate that our transfer would only wait an hour then leave without telling us. A delay at customs (totally beyond our control) meant we missed the transfer and had to find our own taxi. That said on our return customer services have been very helpful and refunded that portion of our booking.

I booked airport transfers to and from JFK airport to the Row NYC Hotel. The arrival transfer was great, but the departure transfer needs to be reconsidered. There seems to be a standard that the pick up for a flight from JFK is 4 hours before the departure time of the flight. However, the journey takes 2 hours at least which means that you don't get to the airport the required 3 hours before the flight is due to leave. It also causes undue stress and worry

The service was good apart from the collection car from JFK did not get outvof his car to find us and just whatsapp us to say he was outside and we struggled to find him and he charged us a extra $10 for overtime pay for waiting till we got out to him although he arrived a bit early.
He could speak English and had to communicate into Chinese via Google translate on his phone.

Everything was good. However, when I booked the transfer to and from JFK Airport, your system asked me to put what time we landed, which was 15:40. We landed on time but had a delay getting on stand but left the aircraft at 15:40.
The driver turned up at the airport at the same time, when we had to go through customs which took 2 hours. The driver kept saying we had to pay an extra $30 because we had taken longer than an hour.
However, the driver said he does alot of airport runs, so he should be well aware of the time it would take us to go through customs.
The return journey was perfect, and the driver arrived on time.

Yes - both pick ups came on time & communicated in advance via message & calls. The pick up from JFK was a Toyota SUV which didn't really fit the Executive Transfer Vehicle we were expecting - it had boxes of cooking oil in the boot & had Tape in several places inside the car. Both Drivers were pleasant and the journey's were in good time.

Hotel and airport parking were great.
Private transfer on the other hand was not so great. Arrived at airport after flight and no one was there to pick us up. The number on the instructions provided by you wasn't working. We found a number and call them, their customer service was really bad and someone else had to take over the call as they couldn't find the booking. Eventually they did and found the driver was in a car park 15 minutes away. We never established why. Once we found the driver the journey was great and the return pick up was great as the driver contacted us ahead of time.

Having never gone to New York we decided to prebook our taxi to and from the hotel. The driver we had to collect us could hardly speak any English. We were charged $30 dollars because it had taken a long time for us to get through customs. He was on his mobile phone for most of the journey to the hotel and if we tried to communicate with him he just shook his head and didn't understand us.

Transfer from JFK to Manhattan. Going was extremely easy and well organised. Driver contacted us whilst we were still in Scotland to confirm he would meet us at airport. Driver kept in contact on arrival and was very polite and pleasant.
On departure day, I contacted the support centre to confirm pick up time. I was told I would be contacted. I worked out departure time would be about 3.30pm. As we had not received any confirmation, we were worried about going out and going too far from hotel. A definite time would have given us more scope to make the most of our last few hours in NY. Driver contacted us just before 3pm to say he was near hotel. Again driver was very polite and pleasant. I would most definitely use holiday extras again but advance notification of departure pick up time would have been appreciated (maybe the day before) just like the pre arrival time.

I couldn't recommend using holiday extras enough! We booked a return transfer from NYC for me and my partner. The day before we received a WhatsApp from the driver confirming they would be waiting at JFK for our arrival and they was. Again on collection the driver messaged the day before just confirming the collection details from the hotel. Super straight forward, super easy and friendly staff. It's experiences like this that can make or break a holiday or basically set the tone of the holiday, well both myself and my partner were really impressed and will be booking again in the future. 100% recommend!

Information on collection from airport wrong. On return to airport they had no pick up time and were going to pick us up at 1750 for a 2055 take off it's 1 hour 15mins at least to the airport. I was very upset at the thought of missing our flight until I rang the UK and was told to get a taxi which I was reimbursed so thank you.
