There was a long delay at gran Canaria airport for the busses, not enough busses for passengers and a very stressed member of staff trying to sort it out.
So either more busses or bigger busses from the airport to the resorts.

My transfer from the airport to the hotel was fine. We didn't have to wait very long to leave. My return transfer was ontime, however it was four hours before my flight departure time, which meant that I arrived at the airport two hours 45 minutes before departure, which was far too early. The pickup should have been at least 30 minutes later.

We particularly enjoyed the return transfer with John who was friendly and charming as well as being a superb driver. Would not hesitate to recommend private transfers as it makes the start and end of the holiday much more relaxing.

Arrived at Gran Canaria,due to no steps at aircraft,we started running late,got to baggage re claim,this took 30 mins,got a text and photo from our driver who said he only had a 45 minute window and he had to leave,rang him many times but no reply,rang another number but guy said he could not help me,stood around for about an hour and then decided to get a taxi which cost me 50 euros.Maybe there should be some way a driver could call his office when passengers are delayed and rearrange.
I'm pleased to say the return trip was superb,a nice car and a lovely driver who was very chatty

We managed to locate horizon rep on arrival but had to wait about 10 mins for actual driver to turn up . We got dropped on road outside hotel no indication where royal level reception was and ended up in the main hotel . On pick up again driver parked on road but he did meet us in reception . This company was not as good as the one you used for our trip to Melonaras in June

Absolutely flawless, straight to the desk on arrival, directed to the right bus which was driven by a very courteous driver. Return journey again was perfect, the driver arrived at the scheduled time loaded the luggage and away we went. Journey there was longer than stated and the bus driver drove terribly. He even hit something, although not sure what. The journey back was much better - newer bus, air con. However the pick up time was crazy early to get to the airport. And the length of time taken again was over double what I expected when booking.

I arrived at Gran Canaria airport around 90 minutes late due to delay's. There was very little people around. I spoke to a young man at a desk and showed him my booking reference. A taxi was arranged straight away with no quibbling.which arrived 25 minutes later. The taxi man was very pleasant.
The return shuttle was right on time with no waiting around

Everything went as smooth as you could hope for, with a late flight you just want to get to your accommodation and that's exactly what happened. Everybody at the airport was more than helpful. Return journey to airport was similar,we were met at our hotel by a very pleasant well dressed guy and had a nice drive to the airport.

The return journey was great and driver arrived on time and communication and texts for pick up was great however the pick up from the airport wasn't great . It was by an old coach and more than 6 drop offs even though I paid the extra for less drop off. Plus had to put up with an annoying beeping all journey plus coach driver wasn't the friendliest and barely gave us time to get the other cases of the coach before he was back on n closing the luggage compartment.

Easy booking process, everything went smooth, no problems at all. Previously booked with hoppa provider but the service was unsatisfactory (pickup information provided was ambiguous. Ended up waiting at the wrong location where transfer didn't show up, causing me to pay for taxi fare. Will not use hoppa again). Holiday Extras seem to have better customer care. Highly recommended.

had a problem with the return shuttle service and had to get a taxi back to the airport at a cost of 77euros the day after we arrived back home they had refunded the 77 euros and give us a voucher for £18 that we could use against a future booking , that's what I call outstanding service and will definitely use holiday extras again.thank you.

Our driver was waiting for us when we landed and got straight off to our apartments the mini bus was very comfortable. On the return journey our driver was a little early but we were ready and got straight off although the mini bus back was a little uncomfortable there wasn't much room between seats thought it was a kids school bus had to sit on an angle so my knees didn't bang on the seat in front but apart from that everything went smoothly and have already booked again

We found this the best value option to get from the airport to Puerto de Mogan, quicker than the Global bus but much cheaper than a taxi. There was a bit of an unexpected wait at Las Palmas airport on arrival, and eventually we and another couple were taken in a taxi to our resorts. Returning, the minibus was on time at the pick-up point. It took a while to get through all the pickups on the way back to the motorway, but we got to the airport in plenty of time.

We had a long wait on arrival at the airport and were given very little information about why we were waiting so long to be transferred, bus was missing I assume?
Transfer back to the airport for departure was excellent, which is why we consider using this service again. We had one bad and one good journey.

Being allocated our transfer vehicle on arrival proved very chaotic but eventually we were taken to our hotel by regular taxi together with two other travellers. Very cramped and uncomfortable journey. However the driver was very accommodating and got us to our hotel with no problem. The return pick up worked really well and we were kept informed of times etc with a large vehicle transporting six travellers comfortably to the airport in plenty of time.

Organisation of clients to buses seemed a bit chaotic on our arrival and we had to wait on our bus for around 20 mins but the drive was smooth and we were dropped right out side the entrance of our hotel.
On our return I received a text about the return time, also an email and our hotel reception were informed which was great information! We were picked up by a taxi at the agreed time as there had been a problem with our shared transport bus (not that we knew) and delivered to the airport terminal entrance without any problems.

We have booked many private transfers with you and they have been excellent. On the last couple in Gran Canaria we have had local taxis take us from the airport with very fast drivers who use their phones while driving. The return journey is with a very smart car and driver who observes the speed limits. Our daughter and family have experienced the same last October.

Mister Transfer would not be my preferred choice. They were not waiting with a board on arrival and we called to confirm our return pick up and the driver had not been given the instructions that we were 4 passengers although we had confirmation of this from our call. On arrival at Gran Canaria airport there was no driver or car to meet us,on checking with the desk staff we were told the car may have broken down,we were then asked to take a seat and after approximately 30 minutes we were found a driver and a old mini bus which took us to our hotel.

The return pick was really good. Picked up on time and very organised and professional driver. On the other hand the travel from the airport was chaotic. We were directed to a pick up point and from their allocated transport. The people didn't seem to know what they were doing . They kept ordering taxis on the spot. Nothing was organised. I waited for over an hour and a half and eventually was put in a taxi with another couple who had been waiting the same amount of time . We had to wait at the end of the pick up points and there was no seating. I am 67 and standing for over an hour and a half was very uncomfortable .

I have used HX several times. Hence why I put I would use you again. But unfortunately your service this time dropped well below your usual standard. I booked a transfer on 18/9. Confirmation fine. Then a week before travel your reminder email had a different pick up time. Thought this was sorted out via Chat. Although not straight forward. Only to find 3 Days before travel this was cancelled and a new booking sorted. Fair enough you didn't leave us in no man's land. But the first email I opened was the cancellation. Not until I read the others that followed did I realise I still had a transfer. Travelling hoping everything was going to be ok was a little unnerving. As this was travelling with a different company. We had to find the desk/driver and I wasn't very impressed with the driver he drove far to fast. So if you continue to use this same company. I won't use or recommend you. Sorry.

Everything went so smoothly. The original coach turned out to be overbooked but they had a mini bus there within minutes to take us to our hotel making the transfer even quicker. Last time we were there we had to wait 3 hours as they had our take off time from Newcaste as our arrival time and said we had missed our transfer This was not Jumbo.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was great. The driver was really friendly, the bus was small and modern with great air conditioning. He got me to my hotel really quickly. However the coach that came to collect me was old and knackered, it was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning did not work. To make it worse, we drove around for an hour picking people up and ended up almost back at my hotel. By the time I got to the airport I thought I was going to be sick and was absolutely soaked with body sweat. Really uncomfortable journey. The only reason I have scored you so highly is because of the first transfer on arrival.

Hotel pick-up wasn't as good - some 15 mins late and dropped us at the far end of the (very large) airport - not ideal. Return trip to the airport was 40 mins late. It took over 10 mins for someone to answer the phone and then I was put on hold, the vehicle arrived before they got back to me. The vehicle was old and we wouldn't have been surprised if it had broken down.

Arrived in LPA and went to desk specified and there was nobody there. After a 5min wait a girl appeared and looked at my booking on my phone and told me she didn't have it. She told me to try another desk, I refused as this was the correct office and she wrote a bus and stand number on my paperwork n that was it. The bus left exactly 88 mins after I got on it to begin transfer! The return journey email stated pick up at 1215 but to be there 15mins before (so 12) but when I logged onto system it showed pick up as 1155 (so 1140). To err on side of caution I was outside at 1140. At 1220 I hadn't been picked up and was concerned given no record of booking on arrival so I called the number given only to be told after quite some time on the call, that pick up was 1230!! The communication and organisation was awful. It wasn't expensive but it was very stressful.

The transfer both ways worked well eventually. However we had an issue on arrival as the bus driver said she was not prepared to drop us at our booked venue and instead she was going to drop us at "a bus stop five minutes up the road".
I said this was not acceptable nor what was agreed and she became quite argumentative. I then spoke to a manager to try to override the decision as the driver was adamant she would not take us to our actual booked venue.In the end we were dropped appropriately but it wasn't a great start to the holiday!

I was very happy with the airport transfer service even though we were delayed 4 hours to Las Palmas one call to the number provided gave us peace of mind. On arrival the driver was waiting ,even though it was after midnight, who was very courteous and transferred us to our hotel efficiently. We were last passengers on the bus, so there were no waiting and in Maspalomas, our hotel was first stop too, so win win situation. Time of transfer was as described, about 25-30 min. Pick up on outbound journey worked fine.
Return was a different story.
Only information for collection was that I the return was booked for 2 and half hours before plane departure. Taxi arrived 3 and 1/4 hours before and so we were still changing and final pack of worn clothes and so asked how to com back at the time informed. He said he couldn't and we would have to get taxi. We discussed further and he then agreed to return. He did not and so we were then forced to take taxi. As this meant we were now 30 minutes over time it added great stress to the end of a good holiday.
To avoid such issues it would be great to have a way of knowing what the local operator was confirmed as time and to have that either via app or via email, preferably, to ensure all are aligned on pick up time and not left to an assumption.

Did not get a text or any information about return trip to Airport,which was a worrying at the time had to ring the emergency number. We booked the Courtyard by Marriot Glasgow Airport Hotel, which was lovely. Staff were very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant. We ate and drank at the bar, food and drink were good. The only criticism is that there is no hotel shuttle bus and the taxi charged us £10 each way to literally drive us across a dual carriageway and around a roundabout but there is no footpath so you couldn't walk it. Not so worried about the cost but it would be fairly easy to remedy this and it might makre a difference to some travellers.

I couldn't contact the local office at our holiday destination (Gran Canaria) to receive details of pick up time from hotel back to airport - no-one was answering calls despite repeated attempts. Although this was a hassle, the guy in the UK office did respond promptly and was able to get me sorted! This aspect of your airport transfer service is a bit clunky and hassled - perhaps the confirmed return pick up time could be texted or emailed to customers when confirmed, rather than customers all having to try and ring an office to find this information out?
