Both airport pickups were on time and and good service on the return trip to Faro airport I left my backpack in the taxi but the driver called me back with in 15min to say that he had found it in the taxi and said that he would bring it to me at the airport which he did with in 15min I was very impressed with his honesty and care unfortunately I did not get his name

Hi, the service via the app is ok and my requests have been responded to well, via chat, although quite slow!
I would have liked clearer instructions as to when my return pick up would have been.
I chose to not fulfil the return, as the drive from the airport had many issues.
The girl at the desk seemed very disinterested when we arrived and we waited for quite a while for the driver to alert us to the pickup. He was quite funny at the start, but as the drive progressed, I became increasingly fed up with him.
He drove quite erratically and made fairly inappropriate jokes in front of my 9 year old daughter. Not of a sexual nature, but far too adult. He told us that he hadn't eaten all day, which concerned me. When we were in a traffic queue, he was on his phone, checking the news, amongst other things. He then started reiterating the news about the stabbings in Southport and when I told him I didn't want to talk about that, he just carried on, in front of my daughter, who was right next to him.
The journey took over 2 hours & I didn't really feel like he was paying enough attention on the carriageways. We were both relieved to get to our destination and I arranged to get a taxi back, as I didn't want to use this service again

Faro airport on landing was so busy and the staff should have known this but instead put as down as a no show when it was very obvious the airport security at passport control were over whelmed with visitors to Portugal. Once we found the office we had no transport we were never sent the actual name of the company nor were we sent the correct reference number. We had to sit about in the airport for over an hour until a driver and vehicle was able to take us to our hotel. This had happened all day so feel the time from coming off the plane going through passport control and collecting luggage one hour is never going to be enough time for travellers. This needs to be addressed since there seems to be a work to rule going on with passport control and no over time is being worked at the weekends. Pleased to say that on our return to Glasgow everything went smoother.

It was only when I opened the app that I discovered the pick up time to take us to the airport. I had no push notification, no message and no phone call and was not advised that the pick up time would be updated in the app. Other then that, fuss free service.

Not smooth sailing on the way out as private transfer was an hour late but think there was an issue with the driver as different driver turned up but he apologied and said he was stressed so think he was arranged last minute . They did keep communicating us saying a driver would be there soon but didn't answer our calls to find out more info. On the way back to the airport was absolutely spot on, he was early for pick up and very nice driver who got us to the airport in plenty of time.

Drivers prompt, polite and helpful as was the lady in the office when I had to call them to change the pick up address. It was not possible to enter the address when booking and no opportunity to amend via the app after booking which was quite stressful for my son when he received his confirmation text with the incorrect pick up address on.

We did not receive any direct information about the return transfer. On the booking it said 18.05 for a 21.15 flight. This was too early. The transfer should have been between 18.30-18.50. We were the first to check in as we got there as the desks opened. Top early for the pick up. If we had received a text in resort we could have asked for a better pick up time.

I highly recommend Holiday Extras. I have now used them four times for two holidays in the Algarve. Each holiday required a hotel transfer from Faro to the small town of Altura and the reverse journey on my return home. Because I had booked cheap Easyjet flights, each transfer was either very early or late in the day. On each of the four occasions, I was met by a pleasant driver in a clean vehicle who drove me where I needed to be. The airport transfers were spot on both ways. Both drivers were really nice, very polite and the cars were very clean. clear instructions have been given in the email and regular updates have been sent by Holiday extras.
The only improvement that you can do is to answer the emergency phone number that has been given on the email. On arrival our flight was delayed so I was trying to ring both the local and the uk number given on the email. No one answered on the local one and the uk one was saying that the line is open until 6 o'clock. What is the point of having such a number is nobody is there to pick up!
Other than that, everything else was absolutely fine.

Only problem if any was verifying actual pick up time on website, tried at 9am but could not get the box up with the collection time until after 9.30am which at first makes you think you are doing something wrong.

Driver not waiting when we arrived - our flight was a 40 mins late so we thought we had missed him. We called all the contact telephone numbers but were not able to reach anyone. We were about to get another taxi, and then he arrived.
He was very helpful, parked close to airport exit and go us to our hotel safely.
My mum left her jumper in the taxi and I contacted the company the next day to advise. They were very helpful and did locate it but wanted to charge €30 to return it to our hotel so we didn't accept.
All in all, the transfer was OK, but I might book with another company next time.

Thankfully we didn't have to wait longer that 30 mins for our transfer to leave the airport and the transfer went smoothly. On the minus side, the man on the desk at the airport was unfriendly and abrupt to my husband when he politely asked him did he know what time we were likely to leave. I also overheard another member of staff being rude to a customer.
I'm sure the staff deal with difficult customers on occasions, but people should be spoken to politely and with respect.
Also some bench seats would be great, as there was nowhere at all to sit whilst waiting for the transport, just told 'please stand over there'.
Our hotel pickup went smoothly, the minibus was approx 10 minutes late, but that wasn't a problem. A really good idea would be some sort of confirmation that the customer airport transfer was on route, it would reassure us and alleviate any concerns about getting to the airport on time, especially when the pick up is running a bit late.

Even though our flight was over an hour late landing and we queued for almost an hour to get trough passport control at the airport our driver was waiting for us.
The young lady driver on the return trip was probably the best we have ever had and her car was immaculate.

Booking process was easy and the transfer was very well organised and efficient.
The only draw back I found was when I arrived at my destination airport and went to the appropriate desk, I was given a piece of paper and told that I would have to telephone a number on the paper to confirm my pick up time for my journey home. When I phoned the number 24 hours before my homeward travel all I got was a recorded message in Portuguese. Luckily a text message arrived some time later to confirm the pick up time. However, for a while it was quite worrying not knowing whether my transfer would go ahead.

The transfer from the airport to where we were staying was really good. Ronaldo our drive was careful, we felt safe and he changed the pickup for us as it was 100m further down the road. However, on the return journey the driver said that although his car was making a noise, it was ok. The car was making the most terrible scraping noise whenever he braked and steered to the right. It was surely to do with the brakes and he was using the gears to slow down. We don't want to get him into trouble but we did feel unsafe although he was driving slowly, it was a very worrying noise. And he did weave across the road a bit at times, I was worried he was falling asleep, and he was using his phone a bit as well. Altogether a worrying journey although we made it to the airport and he was apologetic.

Pick up from apartment was excellent. However the airport pickup wasn't quite as straightforward. When we exited from the arrivals hall we had to go left to Cafe Central however there was no sign of the Polotur driver. After wandering about for several minutes, with 2 large suitcases and a wife with a dodgy ankle, we asked another driver who advised that the Polotur drivers normally stood on the othe side of the exit door which was about 50 yards away from Cafe Central.

Arriving at Edinburgh Airport, coming off the second roundabout the sign wasn't standing out too clearly. Overall I was disappointed with the shuttle service offered by your company.
I arrived on time and checked in to the desk at 2030. I was told there would be a brief wait for 2 more families arriving on a flight from Germany which I completely understand. However we were left waiting for nearly an hour and then after all this did not even travel with the passengers we had been waiting for, making the time spent waiting completely pointless.
On arrival to Lagos I was initially told I was being dropped at the main taxi rank, not the agreed drop point as per your map and email correspondence. The driver told me that any onwards travel would have to be with a taxi and at my own additional expense. I am a single female traveller with a big suitcase and by this time it was very late at night given the delay at the airport. He eventually agreed to take me closer but with a lot of additional stress and further time delay.
I appreciate the nature of shared shuttles but also the importance of customer service and delivering a service that has been promised and paid for.

We booked airport transfers with "best transfers 4U" through Holiday Extras for our holiday to Portugal. The price was very competitive and approx 30% cheaper than a standard taxis. On arrival at Faro we had a short wait until our smartly dressed and polite driver arrived and accompanied us to his vehicle. The air conditioned minibus was spotlessly clean and and we arrived at our hotel in Vilamoura in approx 20 mins. The return journey was equally as comfortable and efficient. Booking with Holiday Extras, communications received and price paid all excellent. In addition, the transfers themselves were safe, comfortable and efficient - and relatively quick in view of the drop-offs/pick-ups along the way.
On the downside, after checking in at the agent's desk at Faro Airport there was a total lack of information and engagement during the 45+ minutes we waited for the driver (which felt like a lifetime) and we thought we had been forgotten!
Finally, the website to confirm pick-up time 24 hours prior to departure was a waste of time: took several attempts to log on, then just gave a local phone number to call (also the Holiday Extras UK number which was clearly not appropriate). Should have just given one local number to call and cut out the website.

Transfer took a lot longer than stated. We were also called on holiday to say supplier had changed but they said it had changed to the original provider. It seems your call handlers can't see emails and info customers are sent which is poor. Also driver on return journey didn't put on air con on when asked until husband got out feeling ill
