Picked up from airport,took us to appartment,which was the wrong one,totally my fault,gave wrong address, gentleman stayed with us ,and we sorted ,took us to appartment,phoned next day ,spoke to a wonderful helpful man,and we sorted return journey with no problem, it was my fault ,and I did worry about getting in touch and sorting but I cannot praise holiday express enough,the gentleman sorted it ,and we enjoyed our holiday,exceptional service

Easy to use website. Simple process for parking all you have to do is unload your car and walk into the airport once you drop the keys off and exchange them for a ticket you present on your return where your car is ready and waiting for you. Really good price for an excellent service, highly recommended

I booked a Private Premium Minibus Return for 6 , our plane was late had to call for minibus arrived in 18 mins. Older vehicle aircon not working for passenger. Confusion on return journey, we were in the wrong vehicle, had a phone call from Budapest supplier asking if we were on our way to airport ? had to our pay driver 24,000(£53) even though we had prepaid.

Booked private transfer from the airport to the hotel. The day before we travelled, the driver texted me to make contact. On arrival at the airport baggage retrieval, I sent him a text and he arrived within 5 minutes of our exiting the front of the airport. A lovely, clean, comfortable car with a really friendly driver, who took us around the main sights of the city so we could orientate ourselves (not included in the transfer). He was knowledgeable, friendly and jovial. Our return journey was straight forward and direct. The driver was friendly and helpful, dropping us right outside departures and advised the best outlets for food at the airport. I wouldn't do this trip to Budapest any other way!

There were all negative reviews for the transfer co. which got me worried so I contacted Holiday Extras customer service. The lady assured me that they would not use a co if they were not responsible.
My experience was totally different from the bad reviews and I received excellent service from ATB Taxi Minibus & Limusine Service KFT - Budapest. They contacted me on WhatsApp promptly, drivers was polite, courteous and all bookings were honoured within time. As a bonus, booking thru HE gave us a discount so it made this the cheapst transfer compared to other operators. Thank you. My pick up driver Lelkes and return driver Eniko were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I booked a private taxi for three people, and our transfer was a scared minibus, to be fair it was only one other couple, however as our transfer was late in the evening, being dropped off second was not the service we paid for. The driver was very polite .

Our outbound driver VÁRI TIBOR contacted us by WhatsApp whilst we were waiting to board at Manchester. He sent us a pic of his car and instructions to meet at Budapest airport. He was on time and delivered us safely to the hotel. Great service. Return driver collected us at hotel reception , i had rung the provider the day before to ask for 15 minute earlier pick up, he did this and delivered us in good time to the airport at Budapest . Again good service.

We were expecting someone outside by the meeting point with a board with our name on it. We were anxious after 10 mins no one showed and it was chaotic at the meeting point. After two calls and a wait of at least 35 mins someone showed. The transport on the way back was over 20 mins late too but at least we had a call.
All in all I found it a bit stressful.

Our flight out was delayed by two hours but the company employed organised a replacement car in 20 minutes. The car was excellent and the staff were too. The return journey was on time and the driver had to take a big diversion to avoid a serious motorway hold up.

Overall the service was very good.. on arrival at the airport we received a phone call telling us where to go and ring when we there. We rang and the controller gave us the registration number of the car. We found it and were taken efficiently to our hotel. The driver on the return journey was about 15 minutes late. We were there 15 minutes early as stated on the confirmation email. We eventually got a phone call when he was 5 minutes late and he said he was 5 minutes away. It was nearer to 10 minutes This meant we had been waiting 35 minutes. I think a text the day before to confirm a return pick up would be appreciated

The drivers were very professional. The only comment we could add is that the instructions told us to go to a waiting zone so we headed straight there but our driver was actually waiting for us at the gate and we missed him as we were not looking for him at the gate.

Booking was easy and our collection on arrival was first class, driver kept us informed and arrived promptly. Unfortunately pick up from hotel for our return was not good, driver didn't keep us informed that he was delayed and therefore we were extremely worried that we would be late for our return flight. Communication is everything,something he seemed unaware of, plus a hectic drive to the airport. After such great service on arrival, it was spoilt on return journey.

The collection worked well and the driver was very good and chatty giving us ideas of places to visit.
The return journey was quite different. The original driver didn't turn up and we had to call the back up phone number. An alternative driver arrived approx 20 mins later i.e. more than half an hour after the planned collection time. While this put us on edge thinking we might be late for our plane, the alternative driver was very good and got us to the airport in time. He was also very informative and pleasant.

Pick up from Budapest was good, professional driver in a nice clean car - Return journey was not so good. Driver arrived late - car was shambolic - dirty and unkempt, with even a pair of scissors lying on the back seat. Driver was friendly enough but spent about 90% of the journey on his mobile phone.

Private Airport to Accommodation transfer was absolutely dreadful - none of their promises were met and we were charged extra for the return journey - the pick up from airport never happened and the 2 phone numbers given were never answered - we had to pay £45 for a taxi to get us to the accommodation.
BUT - Upon return we contacted Holiday Extras via their link on the booking form and their customer service was Exemplary - a couple of short emails and a scan of the taxi receipt and a full refund was sent within 3 days - Fully covered the extra expenses and we are fully satisfied with their service.
We will use them again in future - but not if travelling to Hungary - they need to find a new driver service for Budapest.

The transfer to hotel was great the driver messaged with a picture of his car & said to message him when we were outside & he was there in 5mins.
The transfer back to airport started off OK we were picked up half hr earlier than stated, the driver had his wife with him saying she was there because he didn't spk any English, then half way to the airport she asked us for money to pay for getting through barrier at departures, we said we had no cash on us so we were told they would have to drop us before the barrier & we would have to walk up to departures. Then they got a phone call checking they had pick us up & after that they said they would pay.......it made us feel very uncomfortable for the rest of the journey. We had paid for our transfer when we booked & didn't expect to be paying anything else also the other driver hadn't asked us for any money to get through the barrier!

The woman driver was unsure who we were and where she was supposed to be taking us, also her driving was a bit erratic, she nearly reversed into another vehicle, stalled the engine and then was pressing buttons on her phone while driving.

Had to phone the number given as the driver was not there on arrival. Flight was 15mins late landing but the driver was on his way back from another drop off. I had a phone call and text from Budapest Hotel guide the day before leaving to let me know the pick up from the hotel. In fact the driver was 30mins early but that was OK, as we were all waiting.

Collection from Budapest on arrival went very well however I did have to contact helpline for return to airport on 9th as I had no communication or confirmation from driver regarding pick up time , the hotel receptionist managed to get through to the number provided and a driver was sent but I got the impression I had been overlooked , when the driver arrived he mentioned he wasn't the usual driver so I guess he was called in following my call

Booked return taxi transfers from Budapest airport to the hotel. On arrival airport-hotel transfer rep was waiting with my name on a sign. They then called the taxi who arrived within 5 minutes to pick us up. Similarly on departure the taxi arrived at the hotel in plenty of time to take us to the airport. All very smooth and hassle free.

There was an issue with my transfer from airport to hotel and return. I had advised H E of the change of flight times due to airline issues, however the transport contractor still had the original flight times and wasn't at the airport to pick us up as arranged. The driver eventually arrived and confirmed he still had the original pickup times. We asked for confirmation of return pickup, this was still the original flight time. I contacted transport contractor locally, the day before our return, they did not answer the phone. I had to call the UK number on my confirmation, that agent told me to contact the local contractor. I explained that I had already done this without success. Eventually the correct pickups were arranged.
