We were upgraded, which was nice, because we were told the one we booked closed at 1pm although the website said it was open until 9pm. The upgraded one had nice food, the staff were polite and drinks plentiful but some of the upholstery was very very worn and the toilets were out of paper and none too tidy. If I had paid the higher amount I would have been a bit miffed but as it was an upgrade it was fine.

We could not use the lounge as it was not open so I wasted nearly pounds and then had to spend in airport have applied to you for refund no reply

Absolutely worst airport lounge experience!! The lounge we booked told us they were closed upon arrival so we had been asked to use another. Seems that everyone had been told the same as the one lounge was heaving with customers. Not enough staff working to accommodate and serve. We queue over 1 hour for a drink at the bar. Food was empty , cold and no glasses for soft drinks. Tables were left dirty with dirty crockery. We had to Clean out table ourselves begore sitting down. Place was disgusting!!! Never again!!!

Up on arrival We was told due to DHL lack of staff that we couldn’t have the full range of food so we can only have sausage beans from the breakfast menu then word came out they were going to have an inspection of some sort with some vip while we were there all of a suddenly extra members of staff turned up the full menu came out before we left in my eyes this was just an excuse this was the first time we used the gateway lounge we was not impressed so to your question don’t lie to customers

Surely you don’t need me, the customer to tell you, the professionals that 20 minute queue for a drink to be told “the water is over there” when it had run out is not acceptable. Neither is the aircon not working. Get a grip guys.

The lounge I booked was closed upon arrival so we were out in No.1 Lounge instead. It was absolutely packed due to this so the queues for food and drink were long, they were running out of drinks and there were few seats available. The Prosecco was room temperature so I had to ask for ice to put in it. The food choice was less than I expected but quality of food was ok.

I felt we had been mugged, we were in No 1 lounge. It was not clean, tables not cleared, staff running around not knowing what to do. Lunch choice was dire curry, or salad, had to wait 10 minutes for the cheese to arrive and the napkins ( or should I say lack of) there was a blue paper roll on the salad counter, which in our house lives in the garage. I have pictures which I am going to send to CEO. £56 for a disgraceful experience.

The staff were helpful but overwhelmed. The place was full and almost impossible to find a table. Long queues at the bar and only one person serving. Food/drink, crockery and cutlery had to be fetched resulting in delays before eating.

I travelled on the 20th December. On arrival at the lounge I had to go looking for someone to book me in. I was booked in from 11 - 1 pm I was then informed that the lounge was closing at 12 noon due to staff shortagesand at 12 noon I would be escorted to No.1 Lounge. On trying to get a cup of tea I hd to yet again find asomeone to get me milk. There were no pastries on offer I was told I could have hot. On ordering I was informed there was no bread, then I was told there was no tomatoes by this time I was exasperated. I cannot fault the staff or their fsriendliness b ut they were dealingf with a very difficult situation. At 12 noon I was escorted toi No.1 lounge which again had no pastries only muffins. Overall it was a very stressful and unsatisfactory start to my holiday which had cost me money.
