If you're looking for a comfortable, no-frills Stansted airport hotel, that won't make a dent in your holiday budget, the Airport Lodge might be just what you're looking for. The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms featuring all the homely essentials like TV, wifi, and hot drinks tray. There isn't a restaurant on-site however there is a pub just down the road (5-10 minute walk) and a service station 5 minutes away by car. To set you up nicely for your flight tuck into a free continental breakfast. From the hotel to the terminal it's a simple 10 minute drive.
the term “Meet and Greet” is a misnomer. We were neither met, nor greeted. We parked - albeit close to Terminal- we walked a short distance to reception and dropped car keys off. On return we walked a long way to reception, then another long walk to find the car

Arrival at the Stansted Airport Lodge

- Exit the M11 on Junction 8, towards Bishop's Stortford.
- At the roundabout take the 5th exit onto Dunmow Road/B1256 and the hotel will be on your left-hand side.
The hotel team will be at reception from 6pm to 11.30pm for check-in and from 6am to 10.30am for check-out. If you arrive outside of these hours and there's no member of staff nearby, call the number at the desk.

Check out by 11am. When you're ready to fly you can book a taxi to the airport at reception. They are available 24 hours a day, take 10 minutes and cost between £12 and £16 per car.
You can also catch the public bus from just outside the hotel. It costs £1.50 and takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. The bus runs regularly Monday to Saturday from around 6.30am to 7pm, and there's a limited Sunday service from 10am to 5pm.
