There are two dining options at the Russ Hill; Ruspers Restaurant, which offers a carvery from 6pm to 10pm daily; and the Garden Lounge Bar, where you can get snacks and light meals between 12.30pm and 11pm. Breakfast is served in Ruspers from 7am to 10am daily.

The hot and cold breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day – choose from cereals, toast, pastries, fruit or a hearty cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. There's also fresh porridge and black pudding on offer, reflecting the traditional British feel of the Russ Hill. Staff are happy to cook eggs to order if you prefer yours a particular way, and there's plenty of juice and hot coffee to wash it all down with. It's easy to grab a quick bite if you're in a hurry, but plenty to choose from if you have time on your hands.

For dinner, the carvery has a daily selection of roast meats as well as dishes of the day, including a vegetarian option, accompanied by fresh vegetables, potatoes and gravy. There's also soup of the day and selection of salads to start - but leave plenty of space for dessert! Dinner is served between 6pm to 10pm. A table should be booked in advance at the front desk; drinks are served at the bar next door and can be brought through to the restaurant when your table is ready.

The Garden Lounge Bar serves sandwiches, baguettes and snacks during the daytime. From 6pm to 10pm, the bar serves hot food including jacket potatoes, oven-baked pizzas, and proper pub grub including scampi and chips or a 10oz rump steak with all the trimmings. The atmosphere is cheery and informal, with a wide range of drinks served at the bar and children welcome – the kids' menu includes chicken nuggets, sausages and chips, and fish fingers.

Room service can bring you sandwiches at any time, or hot food including pizzas and jacket potatoes from 3pm to 10pm.
