Parking at the Ibis Styles
You’re first thought when you’re leaving your car behind is going to be about safety and with the parking on offer at the Gatwick airport Ibis you won’t need to worry. There are 70 spaces available, some of which are indoor spaces and others are outdoor.
While the indoor spaces offer your pride and joy a little more protection from the elements, both sets of spaces are equally safe. It’s on-site parking so your car benefits from all the safety of the hotel, you can be sure it’ll be waiting patiently for your return.
Since it’s an on-site car park the procedure is really simple, just pick your space and let reception know when you’ve arrived. It’s that easy. When you get back from your holiday your car will be right where you left it ready to take you home.
Getting to and from the terminal is also very easy. Transfers leave from the hotel frequently and once aboard you’ll be at the terminal in about 10 minutes so there’ll be no panic when it comes to departure day.

Purple Parking Park and Ride
The Purple Parking car park at Gatwick is very easy to find, Holiday Extras provide you with map and directions or you can put your postcode into our directions finder for tailored results.
The procedures are simple and the staff are always on hand to look after you should you need them. Upon entering the car park, leave your car in one of the arrival bays, make your way to the reception to check-in and then you are free to jump on one of the bus transfers to the airport.
The professional staff at Purple Parking will park your car in their safe and secure car park. You can set off on holiday with the piece of mind knowing that your car is insured all the while it is with them. The security measures in place are second to none, with regular patrols around the car park 24 hours a day, the Park Mark award for safety, CCTV coverage of the entire car park and security fencing around the perimeter.
Upon arrival back to Gatwick Airport, your car will be ready and waiting in one of the departure bays as you step off the bus from the terminal. It really couldn't be more simple.

On the day of your stay
Make your way to the hotel. overnight parking is very limited.
Arriving by train? The nearest station is Gatwick Airport. It's about 6-minutes drive from there to the hotel by taxi.

Getting from the hotel to the airport
The shuttle bus runs from the main road at the entrance of the hotel every half an hour from 4.10am to 11.30pm at the South terminal and 11.35pm at the North terminal. It costs £5pp each way.
Outside of these times, the local bus, number 100 can be used which stops outside the hotel (Betts Way). It costs £2 per person per way.
Alternatively, a taxi to both terminals costs around £16.
Ibis Styles with parking at Purple Parking
On the day of your stay
Drive to the Ibis Styles and park in the hotel's car park overnight. Overnight parking is included in the price.

Getting from the hotel to the airport
In the morning, drive to Purple Parking to drop off your car. You'll find full details on your booking confirmation.
Park in one of the arrival bays, take note of the number and head to reception to hand over your keys and booking details.
You'll be given a ticket with instructions on what to do when you return. Remember to keep this safe.
Your car will be parked for you while you board the shuttle bus to the terminal. Buses run every 20 minutes. They take 15 minutes to get to both terminals and are included in the price.
Purple Parking will keep an eye on your car with CCTV and regular staff patrols while you're away.
Coming home
Catch the free shuttle bus back to Purple Parking. It's bus stop 6 at the North Terminal and bus stop 7 or 8 at the South Terminal. You'll need to show the ticket you were given when you arrived to the bus driver as you board.
Collect your keys from reception and find your car.
Drive to the exit barrier and scan the barcode attached to your keys to leave.
Ibis with parking at Long Stay South
On the day of your stay:
Drive to the hotel - your confirmation will include directions and a postcode for sat navs. Overnight parking is included in the price.
Getting from the hotel to the airport:
Drive to the Long Stay South car park on your way to the airport where it'll stay while you're away. Then take one of the transfer buses to the terminal - they serve both the North and South terminal and have plenty of room for all of your luggage. Transfers are included in the price, take just 5 minutes and run every 10 minutes, night or day.
Coming home:
Catch the bus back to the car park from the upper forecourt. When you get back, pick up your car, drive to the exit barrier and put your ticket into the slot. The barrier will lift and you're free to drive home. Should the word 'Cashier' and not your booking reference appear on the entry ticket, park outside the exit office and exchange your entry ticket and email confirmation (or quote booking reference) for an exit ticket.
Ibis with parking at Long Stay North
On the day of your stay:

Drive to the Long Stay North car park on your way to the airport where it'll stay while you're away. Then take one of the transfer buses to the terminal - they serve both the North and South terminal and have plenty of room for all of your luggage. Transfers are included in the price, take just 5 minutes and run every 10 minutes, night or day.
Coming home:
Catch the bus back to the car park from bus stop 1. When you get back, pick up your car, drive to the exit barrier and put your ticket into the slot. The barrier will lift and you're free to drive home.
If you have any problems getting out, just press the intercom button and speak to a member of staff. Again, make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation to hand.
